The design principle of high-speed punch is to convert circular motion into linear motion. The output of main motor drives flywheel. High speed punch drives gear, crankshaft (or eccentric gear) and connecting rod through clutch to realize linear motion of slider. The motion from main motor to connecting rod of high-speed punch is circular motion. There are two kinds of mechanisms in the design of high-speed punch, one is ball type, the other is pin type (cylindrical type), through which circular motion is converted into linear motion of slider.
The high-speed punch presses exert pressure on the material to make the high-speed punch plastic deform, and obtain the required shape and precision. Therefore, it is necessary to cooperate with a group of dies (divided into upper mold and lower mold). The material is placed between the high-speed presses, and the pressure is exerted by the machine to deform the high-speed punch. The reaction force caused by the force applied to the material during processing is absorbed by the mechanical body of the press.
